Feature: Seiko Discus hand watch spins wheels to tell time
Sieko Japan came out with a unique style watch which uses a series of moving aluminum wheels to tell time. It might seem a little complicated, but it is the easiest way to tell time. Each component of the hour has its own wheel and works as one in tell time. The seconds have their own wheel as well as the minutes and hours. Not officially launched in North America, but sources say its available on Ebay for $890.
“A set of three numbered discs continuously rotate to display hours, minutes and seconds. The wheels are are partially masked by a frosted glass face with a clear glass window highlighting the current time.”
